Mrs. Sophie Nuwagira Bamwoyeraki is a seasoned, passionate educator with over 30 years of experience in the education space.

Mrs Bamwoyeraki holds a Master’s degree in Education (MUK) majoring in English Language and Literature; an Advanced Diploma in Education (The University of London) and a Bachelor of Education (MUK).

Until recently, she was the Head of the Secondary School in The North Green School, where she served for over 6 years. Before that, she worked with Kampala International School (KISU) for 9 plus years as a teacher of English and headed the English Language and Literature Department.

Before KISU, she worked with Rainbow International School for about 15 years as a teacher of English and Literature; Head of Section of Middle School, Secondary (Year 10 and Year 11) and Head of English and Literature. She also taught at Kenyatta High School in Kenya, Mengo and Old Kampala Senior Secondary Schools. She has experience in Primary education, having served at St. Lawrence Primary School, Mbarara.

Her teaching and leadership experience extend from primary to secondary from Year 1 to 13, serving on middle and senior management teams. Mrs Bamwoyeraki couldn’t have joined us at a better time when we purpose that our Y6 students perform well and transit smoothly to Y7, where she will apply her experience to continue guiding and supporting them!
